Woopit - The 24 hour mobile reload shop
Good day my friend.
I cannot remember when is my last time posting in this blog.
Suddenly today 22 Sept I felt like posting an article.
It may be that I have things to share.
Actually it's about business (of course since this blog emphasis on business).
Recently (not too recent) I have been introduced to a system, mobile top up system.
It's actually a machine. Small machine with the size of public phone (without the phone receiver)
capable of sending top ups to your mobile phones.
For readers from outside Malaysia, I am sure this technology has already been widely use
in your country. But for Malaysia specificaly Sabah (one of the states in Malaysia, known for
Borneo Island and containing Mount Kinabalu), this machine is still alien.
As mentioned in the topic line, the name of the machine is Woopit. The top flow doesn't
involved top up cards, you just enter your telco type (Digi, Maxis, Celcom, U-mobile, International
call) then enter your telephone number, Pay (notes or coins EXACT AMOUNT) and WALA!
your mobile phone are ready to take another job.
When it comes to business, of course profit is in the story line. So let's talk about what the owner
can get from this business. Commission of course. In short income = 4% of the gross sales.
Let's play with the figures. In one month let say 100 people top up Rm10 = Rm1000.
4% of Rm1000 = Rm40. Do you think in one month, only 100 people will top up? Or an all individu
will only reload Rm10? Of course it can be more than that. Let's say that you wanted to get Rm500
from the machine in a month (consider this as extra income but not the only income), so how
much top up the machine should top up customer's mobile phone? Rm500 = 4%. So 100% = 500/4x100.
Gross sales should be Rm12,500. For top ups, it is not a problem.
The key to success is location. Where do you place this machine will determine the sales (which the commision will goes to your spending usage). For me, those with more buying power is college students.
Though they are still not working, but they use top up a lot! That is the time where they will be more on the social side. So need to put park the machine at places such as colleges, universities, apartments etc. (Maybe you know better).
In order to get the location and do the instalation, it is important to get approval from premis owner. It may be that rent will be involve but be rational on the market potential. If it is likely sales not so good, do not agree to an expensive rent, or else every month money will be going out from your pocket instead of coming in.
Every business has its risk. Those who success in business are those who can handle risk nicely.

Appreciate your writing...

Good day to everyone.
I want to get us back to the title of this blog. It is about
"Bizz", which leads to Business in some people mind.
Well, that means the information contained in this blog is
about how to get more profit in your daily life...
One of the way is, blogging. Now what is in front of you is
my blog. My WRITINGS reached your eyes and after that your
mind. I am putting my words in your mind. Another way saying

Business plan..
Good day to everyone.
I would like to share my thinking.
It's about how to plan our business.
Lately I have been thinking about this;
Just by being an employee, it would not
be enough for us to survive in this ever
challenging life.
Nowadays our life condition is getting
more and more tighten. Cost of living
is hiking like crazy. Maybe our salary
only increase 1 time but the grocerries'
price already increase somewhat like 3 - 5
times.
It is totally ridiculous for us just to
rely on our job alone. Husband and wife
now need both to be working in order to
survive. Let alone saying about having a
comfortable life, far from reality.
But I never give up. I always look into ways
to be successful in business platform.
So what I do think in these few days was
about setting the flow plan for my business
path.
First of all, I did some self-check to see
what do I really have passion with. One thing
for sure is about eating. So I decided to
open one small franchise business related to
foods. ^_^
The income generated from the business I intend
use for attending courses to get certificates
related to my field of academic which is
Engineering. From this certificates, I would
have the chance to operate contract works.
From that then, I am thinking of starting
something big. For example establishing plant
for settling comunities problem.
For those who have the drive to do this, please
share. ^_^

Affiliates Marketing - Selecting products
Good day.
Have you ever been in an "eureka" situation where you can see through holes of opportunity and being able to see how to make money by helping people?
That is what happen to me recently. It's easier to find opportunity through our own experience. For example, going to work, I always spend about 3 hours everyday on the road driving. I am thinking of what I could do to that benefits me for that 3 hours. So I decided to listen something informative. The answer to the intention is by listening to audio books. By driving, we need to focus using our eyes so we cannot read. But we still can listen. Compare listening to the radio. It would be better listening to structured information to increase our knowledge.
So I decide to start it as soon as possible. So let us think that if everyone think of the same thing, it's an business opportunity. By helping people to get the products, we can earn commission.
So guys, if you have any ideas or comments on this idea. Please comments. Thanks

Gold Investment

Good day.
Let us together think about gold investment.
I was told by my friend that doing gold
investment is sure to produce profit.
Is it true? Have we ever see Gold price to
drop? As long as I know, the price of Gold
will only hike and sometime maintain.
So I suggest that if we have extra money,
we should go and buy gold. We just need to
make sure that the gold that we buy is
genuine. Google on tips how to inspect gold
characteristics before going to buy them.
So, what are we waiting for? Let us go for it!

CIMBCLICKS Weakness

This is what will happen if you buy Air Asia ticket using CIMBCLICKS.
Eventhough your money got deducted without you receiving the ticket.

We wsih to inform you that based on confirmation receive from our relevant department, the booking was confirmed on 26th Nov 2009.
Should you have other inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact our CIMB Call Centre at 1-300-880-900 or 03-2295 6100 between 7am to 11pm (Malaysia hours) daily, (we are contactable 7 days a week including public holidays) for information and assistance.
Regards and have a nice day.”
This is what my final comment to them:
You can check with Air Asia whether I got the confirmation or not. All I know is that during the final stage of buying Air Asia ticket using CIMBCLICKS, I receive error message and my balance money got deducted.
I hope this message will be recorded as CIMB service weakness and flaw. Nevermind about the Rm99. You can keep it. I am tired chasing BIG bank for just a tiny little refund (which they also cannot settle). I am wondering what if there is another 10 000 people (or more) out there sharing the same fate as me. It will be an extra income ya..
My advice is that, do not do service which you guys is not good at, yet. It’s money that is been playing around here. Money which is not easy to be obtain through legal ways. For illegal method, I have no comment.

Affiliate Marketing
HOW DOES NICHE / AFFILIATE MARKETING WORKS?
Here's how everything works:
Internet are a massive hub of collecting customers... if you are a company selling something to the masses.
This is because a lot of people turn to uncle Google to seek for information.
This includes buyers as well.
Let say for example... I'm looking to buy an iPhone 3GS.
I would turn to uncle Google first and seek for information on the net.
The same thing goes if you are having problems.. for example you are getting married next month
and you want to lose all the extra weight before the long awaited day. You'd turn to the internet first
for information. Doctors comes later...
At times these people stumbled across a really good offer that corresponds to whatever
they are looking for. Be it iPhone3GS or an ebook about losing weight in 14 days.
What happen at this rate??
Either two things:
1) They'd turn off their PC and go to the shop to buy their iPhone 3GS or ask doctors for
information on how to lose weight in 14 days.
or..
2) They just decided on the fly that they'll get it straight from the internet. They take out their
credit cards... make payments.. and wait 1 to 4 days for the shipment of their iPhone3GS to arrive
or in the case of the ebook... they received instant download link to the ebook on how to lose
weight in 14 days.
However... internet are way too big to conquer. No matter what sort of advertising method a company
uses... it is literally impossible to capture all the traffic to their offer / products / promotion.
That is where we as affiliate marketing comes in...
These company... let's name a few... maybe Adidas, Apple, Nike, Versace, blablabla... will create
an affiliate system so that other people.. like me.. can join and help them promote their products..
for a bit of percentage / commissions on each sale I help them made.
However...
Some big companies don't like the hassle of creating their own affiliate system... so they join available
affiliate network like Commission Junction, Share-a-Sale, Clickbank, and so on.
And people like me... join those affiliate network.. look for products to sell and advertise it / show it
to relevant target group of people in a market / niche.
For example.. if the product is about home gardening... I promote it to those people who wants to
do home gardening.
If the product is about acne... I show it to those who wants to lose acne.
If the product is a digital camera or DSLR camera... I show / promote it to other niched people that
are interested with DSLR camera.
This is affiliate marketing... and to those who have been asking / flaming / whatever about what I do
in the thread in The Fast & Furious section... this is what I do for a living.
Is this business realistic then???
Let say you are promoting some ebook from Clickbank about dating called 'The Magic of Making Up'.
This ebook gives out commission of USD 30 (if I'm not mistaken) for each sale I made.
The book is for people on the verge of divorce or to those who want to make up back with their ex.
Breaking up in dating world are a heated issues... millions of searches are being done in Google
just about this issue alone.
So it corresponds to the first rule I stated above: 1. Find a hungry market that are having similar problems / enjoying similar hobbies.
The problem here is they are having difficult times in their relationship.
Next stage is: 2. Find out what they want.
So... what do they want. A five minutes simple research on a couple of forums including Lowyat.net hinted that
they want their relationship to be back like how it was before.
So what I do is... show them the way to 'The Magic of Making Up' offer... help them decide to buy (there are strategies for this)
and voila... I just made USD 30.
Now this is a world wide problems... agree??
In some part of the world this sort of problems has resulted in a lot of suicide.
These people in this niche are emotionally disturbed... so what we do is we help them
get better by re-uniting them with their ex... in the process we make money.
It's a beautiful system that affects life isn't it. In the process as well... we feel satisfied and happy.
Now imagine... I made one sale everyday.
Each months I'll be making USD 30 x 30 = USD 900.
Did I ever mentioned that this is a very hungry and serious topic.
Making 3 to 5 sales a day is pretty easy actually.
Let say 3... that would mean I'll be making USD 30 x 3 = USD 90
USD 90 x 30 = USD 2700 from this one niche alone.
Now.. one basic principles of niche marketing is...
NEVER PUT ALL THE EGGS IN ONE BASKET.
In essence... don't rely on just one niche. Go and do
more...
So I promote things to teach Forex.. home gardening.. how to write a resume..
and one physical product which is a chandelier.
4 niches.
Assume I made similar amount of money from all 4 niches...
that makes it 5 niches.
5 x 30 = USD 150 daily earning.
150 x 30 = USD 4500 monthly earning.
Convert to RM = RM 15,xxx per month.
See the potential now??
What if you have 10 niches??
What about 50??
What about 100??
You could literally quit your daily job right???

Idea for business 1
Good morning/afternoon/evening to you.
Right now I am going to share especially for you about how
you can start your own business.
It's about working at the comfort of your own house.
First of all you need to know what is your local speciality. Something that you can easily get at your place but it is something that is wanted at another area. This is your advantage.
In order to know what is your local speciality and does it demanded by other places, you need to do research. Believe me, there must be at least one stuff at your place that is really needed by people from another place.

Agriculture is a business
One of the best natural and historical way to do business is by involving in agriculture activities. The reason why I said that it is historical because it was done by our ancestor before they have any advance technology like us today. During that day, they do plantation for living to get their food supply. Nowadays vegetables and fruits had become money earner for farmers. So if you have unused land, you can start to plan about involving in agriculture as it has high demand by people. To sell thing, you need to have buyers. If you sell fruits and vegetables, there will sure be buyers because everybody needs them.
I suggest that you start organic vegetables and fruits plantation as it have high demand nowadays due to health awareness by citizens of the world. It sure will take some time but as the harvest season arrive, you will reap your rewards..

Persistence!
"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common then unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
After reading this.. My heart filled with joy.. I am not a talented person, genius nor "educated enough".. I am just a simple guy with BIG dream. I almost going to say, "Hey, I am no talented and genius person. So forget about wanting to be successful. Let stop this effort right here, right now and be slave for the rest of my life". T_T
I will surely become more persistent together with those die hard people in pursuing their dream.
Let not it be just me or they because YOU are also having the key to success through the path of PERSISTENCE. =)

Starting is Painful..
Business is good. You know about it. Well, everyone does. We can see many people become successful because of businesses. But seldom do we see how the business owner starts his /her own journey. Right now I am in the midst of setting up my online business and I can feel the challenges. I have no knowledge about this field. Even my background of study was not related to this business.
There are so many things to think and to be taken care of. I need to think about the technical stuffs. I need to think about ideas for my site contents. Need to generate creative ideas for promotions. All these stuffs and many more will need me to make time tables to arrange them so I will do it with balance. Addition to the time tables is “DISCIPLINE”. Without discipline, planning and time tables will be no use. What are the use of having time tables if you cannot follow them?
Sometimes I will feel like wanting to stop doing all these things because I didn’t see any money comes into my pocket. But I knew that this business is not a quick rich scheme. I need to build this business from scrap. Starting from “zero” and aiming for “hero”. I believe that if others can do it, I can do it too.
Each and every one of us is made to be special and have the ability to learn, provided we “want” to learn. It is wise to spend at least 1 hour everyday for reading any material that could upgrade your knowledge in your area of interest. There will be time that we feel like we want to learn all stuffs in a day. Don’t rush things. Be cool and the most important part is to maintain your momentum. Success is waiting for us just a little bit ahead. =)

If U Failed to PLAN then U PLAN to Fail
That's the words that show how important planning are. Actually before this, I take "planing" for granted. When I need to do the actions, then I will think about how to do that in that instance. But with this style, I always end up to be confused and carried away. What I mean by "carried away" is that I cannot focus on my goal and just followed my leg where it carries me. Then when I realize it, my friends that have proper planing for their future are getting nearer to it. As for me, I just live like a bird, day by day. Today thinking about tomorrow and this continue. I never think about further in the future. This is a LESSON to me. I should stop from being like this. With this kind of habit, I will never achieved success (Except for LUCKY people).
One of the thing that I am sure of about the requirement for success is "continuous learning". But only by knowing this will not bring us to success. And in order to do this "continuous learning", we need to "always study". But sometimes when we do not have proper planing, we will tend to "skip" the learning time. Maybe we will say, "I am lazy today, so tomorrow I will do it". Then tomorrow, same thing happening again. So WHAT SHOULD WE DO? As for me, to overcome my "delaying habits", I made my own time table for the work to be done. I will put the work to be done in details or in small pieces because I will feel scared if thinking about how much work I need to do to finish a BIG task. To settle this "scared" thinking, I will break the BIG task, I will split it to SMALLER tasks. After that I will put a CHECK BOX in the end of each small task. The FEELING of "checking the box" after you finish doing the small task will make you wants for more and this will slowly bring you on the way to finish your BIG task.
So that's about planning..
In the next post, I will share to you about how to use mind map to plan. :)

Focus

This famous quote really lift me up. I believe that in every business whether it is online or offline, focus is needed. But before you start to focus on doing something, make sure to do thorough research on that particular area. The reason we do this research is to avoid silly mistake that would waste your precious time. But it also wasting time if we just do research and never start to act on something. So it is best to be moderate.
Maybe we can try the free methods that only require us to work a little bit more and then gradually move to the pay method for example getting your paid domain and hosting which is crucial for online businesses.
Slowly we will see clearer and clearer the path in front of us. Every SUCCESFUL person starts from NOTHING. So now if we got NOTHING, that means we will be SUCCESFUL. See what I saw? =)
This business thing is not about acceleration, but it is about marathon.. The one WHO NEVER STOP will be the winner. Don't ever say that you don't know how to do that. I SAY that you know how to appy the "NEVER STOP" stuff because you succesfully did it when you first time learning how to stand and walk. Same to when you first time learn how to ride bicycle. =)

Anatomy of a Search engine
Recently I've been reading about the search engine concept so I could understand how to optimize my website and blog. I've found out about the formula to calculate page rank. It's quite interesting even though I don't really understand it yet. Here's the formula:
"We assume page A has pages T1...Tn which point to it (i.e., are citations). The parameter d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1. We usually set d to 0.85. There are more details about d in the next section. Also C(A) is defined as the number of links going out of page A. The PageRank of a page A is given as follows:
PR(A) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
Note that the PageRanks form a probability distribution over web pages, so the sum of all web pages' PageRanks will be one."
